Turnisha Carter PMHNP-BC

Turnisha possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. She follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, and personal observation. Turnisha has experience treating adults, adolescents, geriatrics, and LGBTQ patients with depression, anxiety, panic  disorder, other mood disorders, ADHD/ADD  and wide range of other disorders. Her services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy. Single mother of 1 son, Turnisha received her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2020. After graduation she worked at Langley health services in Florida. Prior to becoming a PMHNP, she has been a registered nurse since 2013. Turnisha has a history working with patient in an inpatient and outpatient setting. During her years of working with this population, she believes in patient center care. Her philosophy is the patient owns their recovery and she is just an aid for the patient while on their journey to recovery. The road to recovery can be a difficult one and sometimes everyone needs help. Once the mind, body, and soul are aligned the healing begins.
